What we collect when you send us a project, what we do with it, and how to get it back or have it deleted.
Who we are
This website is operated by Nomi Atelier Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16596303. Our registered office is Waters Edge Park Drive, Harrow Weald, Harrow, England, HA3 6RN.
Nomi Atelier Limited is the data controller for the information described here. For anything to do with your data, write to info@akoyaproperty.com.
What we collect, and when
Nothing at all unless you send us something. There is no account, no login and no tracking pixel on this website.
If you use the project brief or the contact form, we receive what you put into it: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, where the project is, and what you tell us about it.
Our host keeps ordinary server logs, which include the IP address a request came from. That is how any website works, and we do not use those logs to build a picture of you.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
We hold an enquiry so we can answer it and work out whether we are the right studio for the project. Our lawful basis for that is that you asked us to take steps before entering into a contract, and where that does not apply, our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has contacted us.
We do not use your enquiry to market to you. If we ever want to send you anything beyond a reply to what you asked, we will ask you first and you will be able to say no without it affecting anything else.
Who else sees it
Inside the studio, only the people who need to in order to answer you. Nobody outside it.
Zoho holds our enquiry records, on their European infrastructure.
Netlify hosts this website, so every request passes through their servers and appears in their logs.
We do not sell anything to anyone, and we do not share enquiries with other businesses.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry does not become a project, we keep it for 24 months and then delete it. That is long enough to remember a conversation that comes back around, and not so long that we are holding things we have no use for.
If it does become a project, it becomes part of our client records, which we keep for six years after our work together ends — the period we are required to keep business records for, and the window in which a contract dispute could still arise.
What you can ask us to do
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask for a copy in a portable form, object to us holding it, or ask us to restrict what we do with it.
Write to info@akoyaproperty.com. We will not charge you and we will answer within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right, but you do not have to.
